Experimenting with colored play dough.
We often make colored play dough for the children to play. All of the children love it!
First we mix food coloring with water. Every child mixes his or her favorite color. We make sure it is a rich color, so that our dough is pink, yellow, green or blue enough. We mix one part of flour with half part of salt. Then we add our color water and a little bit of oil. The children believe it's magic that the dough turns all different colors.

Finally the dough is ready. It is pink, yellow, green and blue! And then off they go creating all sorts of shapes, using their tireless imagination.
We used blank face templates to create play dough faces. We also made play dough numbers.
Another day we made play dough ladybugs using red and black dough. We put them on nice green leafs!
